Ebb ("the extension," "we") is a Chrome extension that provides cash flow forecasting for irregular income. This policy explains what data Ebb handles.

What Ebb handles

Ebb handles only information you enter directly into the extension: your starting balance, income and expense amounts, dates, labels, recurring-entry settings, and theme preference. Ebb uses this information only to create and retain your cash-flow forecast.

Where your data is stored

Any income, expenses, dates, labels, and theme preference you enter are stored using Chrome's built-in local storage. This data:

Stays on your device
Is never sent to a server we operate
Is never sent to any third party
Is removed automatically if you uninstall the extension

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Ebb's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Ebb does not sell user data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to cash-flow forecasting.

Bank connections

Ebb does not connect to your bank, does not use Plaid or any similar service, and never asks for banking credentials. Every figure is entered manually by you.

Analytics and tracking

Ebb does not use analytics, cookies, or any tracking technology.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted at https://ebbplus.app/privacy-launch.html with a new "last updated" date.
