Quick answers
How do I update my starting balance?
Open Ebb, select the gear icon, and choose Update starting balance. This changes your forecast without deleting your entries.
How do I add or edit an entry?
Choose + Income or − Expense to add an item. Select an existing item in Coming up or in the calendar day panel to edit or delete it.
How does Ebb calculate days afloat?
Ebb starts with your current balance, applies your dated income and expenses in order, and identifies the first day your projected balance falls below zero. “60+” means your balance stays above zero throughout the 60-day forecast.
What happens if I uninstall Ebb?
Chrome removes Ebb’s locally stored data when the extension is uninstalled. Ebb currently does not maintain a cloud backup of your entries.
Does Ebb provide financial advice?
No. Ebb is an organizational and forecasting tool. It does not provide financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice.
